We are so excited for our client, Forbidden Root, Chicago’s first botanic brewing company, which opened the doors of its brewpub to the public at 1746 W. Chicago Ave., in the former Hub Theater in West Town, on February 18.
The anticipated opening of this unique brewpub excited food and beverage media and generated a substantial amount of coverage. Below are some highlights surrounding the pre-opening coverage:

In an article in Draft Magazine, Forbidden Root brewpub was named one of the best places to drink beer in February.
When opening day arrived, the neighborhood, beer community and media went crazy. Articles were included in Eater, DNAinfo Chicago, Chicago Tribune, Urban Daddy, Chicago Beer Geeks, and RedEye.
WCIU came to the brewpub on opening day to talk about the Rootmaster Laboratory and the food & beer at Forbidden Root.

The excitement continues as Forbidden Root rolls into its second week and Chef Dan Weiland was on WGN’s Lunchbreak segment making Cheddar and Wildflower Pale Ale Beer Cheese.
