Summer Camp Sweets at Katherine Anne Confections

Nothing says nostalgia like thinking back to the good ol’ days of summer camp! Katherine Duncan, founder and confectionista of Katherine Anne Confections, a locally-focused chocolatier, is excited to host a Preview Party featuring all of the upcoming flavors for the month of July—flavors that evoke childhood memories! The confectionista has replicated many favorite summer snacks, starting with the Fig Newton truffle: figs, orange/lemon and biscotti cookie spread with milk chocolate. The Rocky Road truffle starts with salted caramel ‘mallows blended with milk and bittersweet chocolate and roasted almonds. Cherry Limeade comes in the form of a marshmallow whipped into clouds of fluffy deliciousness.

The Preview Party is a chance for attendees to preview and indulge in 18 new limited edition, un-launched truffles, caramels and marshmallows to be released in July. The treats will be available at the confiserie and farmers markets in the Chicagoland area.
