Oyster Fest & Oyster Stout Release

Owner Niall Freyne, born in Galway, Ireland, home of the world’s oldest oyster fest, has brought this proud tradition to Chicagoland and serves the freshest variety of oysters flown in from the east and west coasts each day. Oyster Fest attendees will be treated to a full raw bar of seafood delicacies including shrimp, clams and Kind crab legs. Seafood chowder, Oysters Rockefeller and more specials will also be on the Tribes menu, making this a spectacular seafood event!
New this year is the launch of Tribe’s first-ever Oyster Stout. We are proud to share our version of this rare style which is steeped in history (and oyster shells!). Tribes Oyster Stout will be a dry Irish stout made with shucked and whole oysters.
For Oyster Fest, Freyne chooses eight different varieties to satisfy all oyster-loving taste buds. Throughout the event, a raw bar is set up and guests can choose their oysters (priced by the piece and available ala carte, no minimum or maximum) and have their order zip-lined to be shucked on the spot by the Tribes crew. Homemade cocktail sauce and homemade mignonette sauce (a traditional, spicy sauce made with shallots and vinegar) will be served with every order.
