Katherine Anne Confections Launches 21 HOLIDAY Flavors

Katherine Duncan, founder and confectionista of Katherine Anne Confections, a locally-focused chocolatier, is excited to host a Preview Party featuring all of the upcoming holiday flavors for December. The holidays are an exciting time of year and Katherine Anne Confections is excited to amp it up by launching an unprecedented 21 flavors! With classic holiday flavors like the Eggnog Truffle, Chocolate Candy Cane Caramel and Peppermint Marshmallow and new, holiday-perfect sweets like Brandied Brown-Sugar-Peach truffle made with Michigan peaches roasted in brown sugar and deglazed with brandy and a Marasca Fizz cocktail truffle with bubbly champagne, cherries and star anise, this preview party is sure to be one of the best. The Preview Party is a chance for attendees to preview and indulge in 21 new limited edition, un-launched truffles, caramels and marshmallows to be released in December. The treats will be available at the confiserie.
Attendees will enjoy an evening of food, fun and new friends at this fun-filled, chocolate event on Wednesday, November 19
from 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. (open house style, plan for an hour).
Caramelized White Chocolate + Ginger: caramelized white chocolate, fresh ginger, candied ginger
Fruitcake: bittersweet chocolate, market apricots and cherries, rum-soaked currants and raisins, citrus
Eggnog: white chocolate, bourbon, nutmeg
Brandied Brown Sugar Peach: bittersweet and milk chocolate, brown sugar roasted peaches, brandy
Champagne + Cherry + Anise: semisweet chocolate, champagne, MI cherries, anise
Chai Tea: white chocolate, SenTeaMental Moods chai tea, cinnamon, clove, nutmeg, ginger
Cranberry Blood Orange: bittersweet chocolate, WI cranberries, blood orange
Glog (v): semisweet chocolate, red wine, brandy, cardamom, cinnamon, clove, orange
Candied Sweet Potato: milk chocolate, orange and brown sugar candied sweet potatoes, KAC vanilla marshmallows
Brown Buttered Rum: milk chocolate, brown butter, dark rum, orange
Peppermint Mocha: white chocolate, Ipsento coffee, oil of peppermint, crushed organic candy canes
Almond + Orange + Chili: milk and bittersweet chocolate, almonds, orange, smoky chilis.
Plum + Green Tea: bittersweet chocolate, roasted plums, matcha
FEW Bourbon + Ginger: FEW Spirits bourbon caramel, candied ginger
Chai + Mulled Wine: mulled wine caramel infused with chai tea & chai tea spices
Chocolate Candy Cane: chocolate caramel with candy canes
Cinnamon + Cacao Nib: Saigon cinnamon caramel plus roasted cacao nibs
Fig + Blood + Anise: honey caramel with dried figs, blood orange and star anise
Mulled Wine + Ginger: mulled wine caramel with candied ginger
Peppermint: pillowy peppermint marshmallow sprinkled with organic candy cane pieces
Cranberry: tart cranberry ‘mallow with dried cranberries
$25, includes an evening of libations, savory bites, and sampling as yet un-launched truffles, caramels and marshmallows! Space is limited and truffles are made to order, so guests are encouraged to reserve their spot today! Limited quantities of confections will be available for purchase that evening and attendees will be able to pre-order treats for future weeks.
