Katherine Anne Confections Anniversary Celebration

Katherine Duncan, founder and confectionista of Katherine Anne Confections, a locally-focused chocolatier, is excited to celebrate her 9th anniversary with a week of fun, chocolate-filled events & specials! While the confiserie on Armitage Avenue has been open just three years, Katherine is celebrating 9 wonderful years since the launch of Katherine Anne Confections in Chicago.
Chocolate, caramel and marshmallow lovers alike can raise a glass (of drinking chocolate) and toast to 9 wonderful years of decedent, delicious treats.
Festivities take place at the Katherine Anne Confections confiserie, offers only available in-store. Celebrations begin Tuesday, October 13 and continue until Sunday, October 18.

When she was just 12 years old, the confectionista sold five of “Katherine’s Karamels” for just $1. For this week only, Katherine Anne Confections is going back in time and offering the same deal to in-store customers. (Limit one set per customer.)
Guests will receive a free anniversary truffle with any $10 purchase. The anniversary truffle incorporates three of the flavors Katherine Anne Confections launched with: coffee citrus hazelnut made with Ipsento coffee, citrus fruit, roasted hazelnuts, milk and bittersweet chocolate. (Limit one per customer.)
Friday, October 16:
Toast your own s’more!
Guests will be able to toast one of Katherine Anne Confections’ housemade ‘mallows to perfection, roll in toppings such as toffee or toasted coconut, then layer with chocolate ganache square and artisan graham crackers.
Saturday, October 17:
Bozo Buckets, KAC style!
Toss a caramel in a cup, win that caramel. Make it in all three cups and win a free drinking chocolate!
Sunday, October 18:
Mini Hot Chocolate Bar!
Customers are treated to a generous shot of the acclaimed drinking chocolate, topped with housemade marshmallows. Guests can garnish the drinking chocolate with toppings of their choice, such as candied hazelnuts, sea salt or pink peppercorns. This is a fun and delicious way to take that drinking chocolate to the next level!
