Field Trip to Church Street Brewing with Barley’s Angels Chicago

Barley’s Angels Chicago is excited to head into spring with a field trip to Church Street Brewing in Itasca on Thursday, April 9 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. **For this special event, we are encouraging both men & women to attend this event (they shouldn’t have to miss out on the fun ALL the time!)

Due the location of Church Street Brewing, event ticket holders will be responsible for getting to Itasca. We figured the Metra would be the easiest (and most fun!) way to arrive at our destination (think Barley’s Angels on a train…with beer!) However, you are not required to ride the Metra…you are more than welcome to get your own transportation & meet us for the start of the event at 6:30 p.m. We can coordinate via Facebook who is riding the train, grab a couple 6-packs and get the party started!

For those taking the Metra: We will be taking the 5:23 p.m. train from Union Station & arriving in Itasca at 5:59 p.m. Once we arrive at the Itasca Metra stop, Church Street Brewing has arranged for us to be picked up at the station & brought to the brewery. The event at Church Street will begin at 6:30 p.m. where guests will enjoy a private tour of the brewing, Q&A with the Church Street team and a flight of all the delicious brews on tap. The brewers will be mix ‘n minglin’ & raising a glass all evening with us.

As far as snack, we will also be ordering pizza (included in the ticket price) & attendees are welcome to purchase additional beers after the tour/tasting is done.

For those taking the train back, we will need to catch the 8:43 p.m. train to arrive back in the city at 9:28 p.m.
