Cooking Up a Cure for Scleroderma

$125Enjoy the last days of summer in support of a great cause! Cooking Up a Cure is a fundraising event combining Chicago’s greatest chefs, breweries, wineries and distilleries to raise money for the Scleroderma Foundation, Greater Chicago Chapter, which provides support, education and research to scleroderma patients and their families. The culinary all-star dining event will be held on Thursday, September 10 with the doors opening at 5:30 p.m. for VIP ticket holders and 6:30 p.m. for general admission. The event will be chaired for the seventh time by Cleetus Friedman, executive chef of Fountainhead, The Bar on Buena and the forthcoming cider bar The Northman, and will be held at Galleria Marchetti at 825 W. Erie in Chicago.
Guests will indulge in culinary treats from the amazing line-up of 20 local restaurants, as well as beer, wine and specialty cocktails. DJ, silent auction and other fun surprises will be in store. New this year: In addition to the normal chef stations, chefs will fire up the grills and serve BBQ in the beautiful outdoor courtyard.
Chicago restaurants and beverage companies include Atwood, Balena, Billy Sunday, Bittersweet, The Bristol, Carol’s Cookies, Das Radler, Farmhouse, Fountainhead, Heaven on Seven, Katherine Anne Confections, Lula Café, MK Restaurant, North Shore Distillery, Public House, Smoque, Table Fifty-Two, Templeton Rye Distillery, Trencherman, Two Brothers Brewing Co., Two Brothers Roundhouse, Vie and more! The night will consist of a silent auction, raffle, music and a generous sampling of food and drinks. All proceeds from the Cooking Up a Cure event will support the Scleroderma Foundation’s ongoing mission of providing support, education and research for scleroderma patients and their families.

Early Bird General Admission: Available at $105 through July 10, includes entry at 6:30 p.m. and access to chef creations from the amazing line-up of restaurants as well as beer, wine and specialty cocktails.

VIP Tickets: $185, includes entry at 5:30 p.m. and a celebrity chef meet-n-greet, cookbook signing, reserved table seating and additional hour-long reception.
