Cajun Cooking Class/Dinner at Heaven on Seven Wabash

The Original Heaven on Seven on Wabash, the authentic, critically acclaimed Cajun restaurant of chef/owner Jimmy Bannos, is excited to host its Cajun Cooking Class featuring a five-course dinner and demonstration on Wednesday, May 2, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Guests receive personal instruction on the art of Cajun cooking from Chef Bannos, while enjoying beer, wine and the famous Heaven on Seven hurricanes. In addition, guests will get to taste and enjoy the finished product. This is an opportunity to learn about the history behind Heaven on Seven and the Bannos family on the 7th floor of the historic Garland Building and experience how it all began 38 years ago.

Guests will learn and eat dishes such as (menu subject to change):

Creole Spiced Caesar Salad

Chicken and Andouille Sausage Gumbo

Orzolaya (Jimmy’s Italian twist on Jambalaya)

New Orleans BBQ Shrimp over Cornbread

Blueberry Corn Blasters

Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased by calling the restaurant at (312)263-6443 and reserving with a credit card. Reservations are required. Ticket price includes five course dinner, cooking demo from Chef Bannos, beer, wine or Hurricanes and recipes for the dishes from the demo/dinner! Tax and gratuity not included.
