The Bar on Buena Launches Brunch!

The Bar on Buena, a neighborhood bar with a great beer and whisk(e)y selection, delicious food and an inviting atmosphere, is excited to launch brunch February 21. The Buena Park staple will be open at 11 a.m. on Saturdays and Sundays showcasing a focused brunch menu from Chef Cleetus Friedman, as well as some special cocktail and beer selections.
As with all of Chef Cleetus’ creations, the brunch menu will have seasonality and local, sustainable food at its basis. With a small kitchen but extremely talented chefs, Chef Cleetus has created a menu featuring a twist on some classic brunch items to complement the stellar craft beer and whiskey selection at The Bar on Buena. Meal prices range from $11-14.
The menu includes a traditional brunch burger with a bacon slab & fried egg, a burrito with egg, jack cheese, adobo crème and choice of meat, house-made chilaquiles, bi bim Bob with jalapeno rice, sautéed spinach, black beans and fried eggs and tortas with bacon, egg, cheddar and talera. Featured cocktails include the spicy b.o.b. bloody maria, the traditional bloody mary and mimosa, the brunch manhatten with BOB Angel’s Envy single-vatting bourbon and of course, an Irish coffee. Some specialty brunch brews will also be available including Founders Breakfast Stout, Hinterland ‘Luna’ Coffee Stout and Flying Dog ‘Kujo’ Imperial Breakfast Stout.
The new menu will be launching on February 21.
