Punk’n Party at Fountainhead

Fountainhead, a well-known craft beer and whisk(e)y bar in Chicago’s Ravenswood neighborhood focusing on local and seasonal food, is excited to host the fifth annual Halloween event: The Great Punk’n Party on Wednesday, October 28! This must-do event will feature seasonal pumpkin and fall beers on tap, a pumpkin carving competition and punk’n music!

At 7 p.m., Fountainhead will be tapping Southern Tier Pumking and Uinta Punk’n and pouring them through pumpkins lined up on the bar (see picture below).

To set the mood for this Punk’n Halloween celebration, guests can grab a delicious fall-style beer and carve some pumpkins while jammin’ to an incredible punk rock playlist (Fountainhead reserves the right to take back any carving tools after a few of these punk’n brews!). Get a pumpkin, a carving kit and a pumpkin-poured beer with $15 ticket price ($20 at the door, based on availability). All pumpkins will automatically be entered into the pumpkin carving competition and the best pumpkins will receive some great prizes. Beers will be available for $6-13. And of course, Chef Cleetus Friedman will feature delicious, pumpkin-inspired dishes to complement the amazing beer selection like the Smoked Pumpkin Hummus ($10) and Old Bay Roasted Pumpkin Seeds ($3).
