Managing Holiday Stress With Ganesha Yoga And Adventures In Fitness

Ganesha Yoga & Adventures in Fitness, a studio dedicated to empowering clients to discover their inner athlete in a fun, laid-back environment where everyone fits in, is excited to host a workshop for Managing Holiday Stress with Ganesha co-owner/former change management consultant Mindy Hanzlik. With healthy eating tips, relaxation tips & time management advice, this workshop is a great way to be sure everyone can enjoy the holiday season to the fullest, with minimal stress. This workshop is not focused on “how to lose 5 lbs in a month”…it’s more about focusing on yourself and your well-being through nutrition and yoga, so the stress doesn’t get the best of you. While Mindy will be discussing the mental and physical aspects of managing stress, co-owner Jane Musgrave, soon-to-be nutritionist, will discuss how eating healthy and getting the proper exercise can significantly limit stress.
The workshop will focus on four key areas:
- Incorporating asana (the art of sitting still) into the daily schedule which will keep the body strong and endorphins flowing.
- Making time for pranayama (regulation of breath through certain techniques and exercises) and relaxation provides on outlet for stress and gives the mind quiet time to appreciate all of the good about the season.
- Learning simple tips for healthy eating while at events, on-the-go or at home will keep the body full of nutrition and energy.
- Discussing time management techniques and the importance of setting priorities and boundaries will maximize efficiency and happiness.
