Barley’s Angels Backyard BBQ at Montrose Saloon

Barley’s Angels Chicago, a women’s craft beer appreciation and education group, is excited to celebrate summer on Montrose Saloon’s patio with a Backyard BBQ featuring Johnny Van’s Smokehouse on Saturday, August 13 from 1-4 p.m.! Montrose Saloon will create a special Barley’s Angels beer list and each guest will receive two brews from the list. Johnny Van will be cooking up some beer-based pulled pork (beer based smoked jackfruit for the vegetarians) for guests to enjoy alongside the beer. Johnny will share some of his BBQ sauce recipes with the group and talk about incorporating beer in his dishes to bring in more flavor.

We will kick back, relax and enjoy a Saturday afternoon under the sun playing yard games, eating delicious BBQ and, of course, sipping on some delicious brews. Additional beers will also be available for purchase.

This specific event is open to both men and women. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated as long as we have prior notice. Select either the vegetarian or meat option when purchasing tickets and if you have other restrictions, please specify in an email to [email protected] ASAP.

TICKETS: $25, includes two pints of beer, BBQ, yard games and a recipe demo by Johnny Van.
