“Simple ways, simple days” has been Emerson Creek Pottery & Tearoom’s motto from the time co-owners Chris and Dave Demiduk, who are husband and wife, pulled up the first plank to establish the Pottery Shop in a one hundred year old farmhouse. The shop is the cornerstone of the business at Emerson Creek Pottery & Tearoom and offers a wide array of handcrafted gifts and accessories, as well as the namesake hand painted pottery. The Tearoom, where homemade, gourmet lunch is offered Tuesday through Saturday, also showcases the love and care that the Emerson Creek founders put into every detail. In addition, the beautifully renovated barn and reception tent invites guests to celebrate all occasions with a beautiful, countryside view. The little Midwestern gathering place is surrounded by impeccable scenery as the seasons change and there’s always something freshly appealing to the senses.

The philosophy of Emerson Creek Pottery & Tearoom is that even in this fast paced world, there is a preference for a “slowed down” experience. People come to Emerson Creek to celebrate many different occasions ranging from the everyday to extraordinary. The venue has been created by preserving the best parts of the past, while creating something new for the future.
