CCBW: 3 Sheeps Derby Cartwheel Release at Fountainhead

The Bar on Buena, Fountainhead’s sister bar, acquired an empty Knob Creek Barrel but did not have  specific plans for its reuse, until 3 Sheeps Brewing came to the rescue! The Wisconsin brewery decided to stick one of their delicious brews in the barrel and let it soak up all the bourbon left in the wood. The result: a whiskey infused version of 3 Sheeps’ 7 Legged Cartwheel, a 100% Brettanomyces-Fermented IPA, dubbed Derby Cartwheel.

In honor of CCBW, Fountainhead will be tapping this barrel-aged collaboration. Be one of the only people in Chicago to get a taste of this boozy, yet refreshingly enjoyable version, along with some other treats from 3 Sheeps and a special edition of Fountainhead’s weekly Bob’s Burger suited just for the special tapping.
